Nestled among the ancient terraces of vines on the banks of the River Sil, where monks raised the monastery of San Vicente de Pombeiro in the 12th century, we find AlmaDasDonas. Considered one of the most symbolic corners of the Ribeira Sacra, the surroundings are well known for peace and tranquillity, making it the perfect place to create our wines.

PREPARATION:

Fermentation is at the controlled temperature of 22-28º avoid losing the primary aromas that define the Mencía wines of La Ribeira.

TASTING NOTES:

Well-rounded cherry red, with medium depth. Nose is medium to high intensity, complex, expressive with hints of red fruits. The palate is balanced, smooth, fruity with a well-rounded pleasant finish. Fine tannins without being being overpowering. Good weight of fruit and great length.
